My small hometown of Ottawa, Ohio recently announced the opening of their very first café. Well Grounded Café strives to establish a welcoming, friendly atmosphere by serving the community and its customers with exceptional coffee and freshly baked pastries.
The owners decided to get the community involved by hosting a logo contest. In my approach, I paired a modern farmhouse green with a hand-crafted script font to create a cozy brand. To create an element of surprise, I added a pop of color to the palette. At the end of the day, my logo didn’t make the final cut, but I had so much fun rolling this out and I can’t wait to get my hands on a cup of joe!
